A
Message from the Pastor...
Welcome!
Spirit One Christian
Center is a friendly, friendly, friendly church! Come just as you
are. At Spirit One you will be comfortable wearing jeans or wearing
a suit. We extend a heart felt welcome to you and your family. We
feel confident that you will find this Body of Believers to be one
of the most loving churches in our community.
Interdenominational
We are an interdenominational
family church, where emphasis is placed on preaching and teaching
the infallible Word of God. We believe in prosperity of the total
man--spirit, soul and body. The Holy Spirit moves powerfully through
our services, ministering to the whole man, as well as meeting individual
needs.
Our Vision
Our vision at Spirit
One is to win souls and make strong disciples and to be a church
without walls. We believe that it is not enough to simply learn
Christian principles but to also apply them. We believe that the
church should be ‘without walls.’ That we should genuinely be ‘salt’
and ‘light’ in our city and community, that we should boldly proclaim
the truth, righteousness, and justice of the Lord. We do many projects
and outreaches that reach out to people in our city to be a help
and blessing to them.
Church
Hebrews 10:25 admonishes us not to forsake the assembling of ourselves
together with
other Believers. If you are seeking a church home and desire an
in-depth study of the Word of God, we invite you and your family
to attend our Foundations Class. It is our desire to meet your needs
in ministry, counsel and prayer. I look forward to meeting
you personally.

What
We Believe
We
Believe:
The
Bible is the only infallible and authoritative Word of God.
(2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21)
There is one God manifested in three persons; God the Father,
God the Son and God the Holy Spirit - eternally existent.
(Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
The New Birth is necessary for all through confession and
belief in the Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 10:9,10; John 3:3-6)
In the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44-48)
In the present-day operation of the nine gifts of the Holy
Spirit. (1 Corinthians 12:7-11)
In following the ordinances of the Lord's Supper (1 Corinthians
11:23-30) and Water Baptism (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:3,4).
That healing has already been provided through the redemptive
work of Jesus Christ and is available to every born again
believer. (Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John)
|

 |
The
foundation of our beliefs rest upon:
The
deity of Jesus Christ. (John 1:1, 14 & 18)
His virgin birth. (Matthew 1:18-25)
His sinless life. (1 Peter 2:21,22)
His miracles. (Acts 2:22)
His atoning death through His shed blood. (Romans 5:6-11)
His burial. (Matthew 27:57-66)
His bodily resurrection. (Ephesians 1:19, 20)
His ascension to the right hand of God the Father. (Ephesians
1:20, 21)
The rapture of the Church. (1 Thessalonians 4:15-18; John
14:3)
His second coming. (Acts 1:11)
